Who Can Request E-Invoices on Our Website?

At Sorella, we ensure compliance with Malaysia’s e-Invoicing regulations set by LHDN (Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia). Below are the categories of transactions eligible for e-Invoice requests on our website:

📌 1. Registered Businesses (B2B)

  • Businesses with a valid Business Registration Number (BRN) or Tax Identification Number (TIN).
  • Companies requiring official e-Invoices for tax compliance and accounting purposes.

📌 2. Individual Customers (B2C)

  • Individuals who require an e-Invoice for personal tax records.
  • A Tax Identification Number (TIN) should be provided during checkout if applicable.

📌 3. Government Entities (B2G)

  • Transactions involving government agencies or entities requiring validated e-Invoices.

📅 Timeline to Claim E-Invoices:

  1. Request After Transaction Confirmation:
    • E-Invoices can only be requested once your transaction has been successfully completed and confirmed on our website.
  2. Standard Claim Period:
    • E-Invoice requests must be made within 7 working days from the date of purchase.
    • Requests made after 7 working days will not be processed, and compliance cannot be guaranteed.
  3. Special Deadline for Last Week Orders:
    • Orders placed during the last week of any month (e.g., 25th to 31st) must submit their e-Invoice request by the 2nd of the following month.
    • Requests made after the 2nd of the following month will not be processed.

Important: Please ensure all required details, such as Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Business Registration Number (BRN), are accurate during your transaction to avoid delays.

🔄 Returns, Refunds, and E-Invoices:

  1. E-Invoice Adjustments for Returns:
    • If a return or refund is processed after an e-Invoice has been issued, an e-Credit Note will be generated to reflect the adjustment.
    • The credit note will reference the original e-Invoice number.
  2. Refund Process:
    • Refunds will be processed according to our Refund Policy and timelines.
    • An updated e-Invoice or credit note will be issued to align with the refund amount.
  3. Timeframe for Refund Adjustments:
    • Refund-related adjustments to e-Invoices or credit notes will be processed within 7 business days after the refund confirmation.

Important: Ensure all refund requests are submitted with accurate transaction details to avoid processing delays.

📝 Steps to Request an E-Invoice:

  1. Request E-Invoice: Select the option to ‘Request E-Invoice’ from your cart details page.
  2. Provide Required Details: Ensure your Tax Identification Number (TIN) or Business Registration Number (BRN) is updated in your profile.
  3. Make a Purchase: Complete your transaction as usual.
  4. Receive Your E-Invoice: The validated e-Invoice will be emailed to you and available for download in your account dashboard.

🔒 Personal Data Disclosure Agreement (PDDA)

We are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) of Malaysia.

📌 1. Purpose of Data Collection:

  • Personal data, including Tax Identification Number (TIN), Business Registration Number (BRN), email address, and contact details, are collected solely for the purpose of generating and issuing e-Invoices.
  • The data will also be used to comply with legal and regulatory requirements set by LHDN (Inland Revenue Board of Malaysia).

📌 2. Data Usage and Disclosure:

  • Your personal data will only be disclosed to authorized parties, such as government authorities (e.g., LHDN) and third-party service providers directly involved in e-Invoice processing.
  • We do not share, sell, or disclose your data to any unauthorized third parties.

📌 3. Data Security:

  • All personal data is encrypted and securely stored in compliance with industry security standards.
  • Access to your data is strictly limited to authorized personnel only.

📌 4. Customer Rights:

  • You have the right to access, update, or correct your personal data within 3 working days only.
  • Once the e-Invoice has been issued and submitted, we are not allowed to make any amendments.

📌 5. Consent:
